Harry is arguably best known for his role as bassist Derek Smalls in This Is Spinal Tap and in Spinal Tap II: The End Continues. For those who will enjoy a walk down memory lane:
Most of you also know Harry is a voice actor on The Simpsons (“Mr. Burns,” “God,” among many others). Harry has also has a strong interest in politics, and was a columnist at the Los Angeles Times Magazine as well as writing from time to time for Slate, and Newsweek. The official denial of negligence in the Hurricane Katrina flooding led him to produce the documentary The Big Uneasy.
Many of you found our site because Harry invited Yves several times to appear on his radio program Le Show, primarily to discuss private equity and CalPERS. Harry is an exceptionally gracious and savvy interviewer.
