According to their website, the more detailed the project, the more you’ll earn. Once your project is complete, you’ll receive your earnings via PayPal.

3. Freecash
Freecash is a GPT (Get Paid To) platform and app that allows participants to earn extra cash in their free time by playing games, testing apps, and taking surveys. Users must be at least 16 years of age, and currently new users can earn a $10 sign-up bonus. According to their website, top users earn $5,000 to $6,000 per month (which seems a little high to me). New users need a $20 balance to withdraw earnings, which you can redeem for free gift cards or cash via PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer, and other options. After your first withdrawal, there is no minimum requirement.
4. Gigwalk
Gigwalk is a smartphone app that pays users to complete a wide variety of short tasks, including website testing gigs. This mobile app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Tasks range from a few minutes to a couple of hours, and compensation ranges from $3 to $100. Each Gigwalker receives a performance score based on how well they complete tasks, with higher-paying tasks assigned to top-performing Gigwalkers. Payments are made via PayPal.
5. Loop11
Loop11 is an Australian-based company that occasionally accepts submissions for paid website tester roles. You must complete a 5-minute qualification test to prove your suitability. There isn’t much information about pay, but the website states that they pay above-average rates and offer bonuses to high-performing performers. They also claim to work with companies such as IBM, Intuit, Amazon, P&G, and others. According to the Founder’s LinkedIn profile, Loop11 has been in business since 2009.
6. PlaybookUX
Get paid to test websites and share your honest opinion with PlaybookUX! With this platform, you’ll create an account and then take a practice test. Once you’ve passed the practice test, you can browse available testing opportunities and start taking tests.
PlaybookUX offers four types of website testing gigs:
- Unmoderated session (10-20 minutes, audio recording)
- Live moderated study (30, 60, and 90 minutes)
- Card sort (2-10 minutes)

PlaytestCloud primarily offers opportunities to residents of the US, Canada, and the UK; however, anyone can join. Payments are issued via the Tremendous rewards platform, where you can choose from gift cards, direct deposit to your bank account, PayPal, and many others!
8. Prolific
Prolific allows users to earn extra money online by playing decision-making games, answering survey questions, training AI tools, and sharing your opinions on websites, apps, and new products. To get started, register for an account and answer questions about demographics, languages you speak, education, and work. If you’re anything like me, you’re multiplying the number of tests you can complete in an hour by how much you’re going to make. But hold your horses! These side gigs are extremely popular! Statistically, there are fewer customers than testers, so don’t expect to be completing three tests every hour on the hour.
Here are some simple tips to make the most of website testing gigs:
1. Sign up with multiple website testing companies. Opportunities are sporadic, so to increase your chances of getting in on the opportunities, sign up with multiple platforms and respond quickly.
2. You’ll also want to create a separate email account just for these opportunities, as they tend to send out a lot of emails.
3. Be sure to take advantage of practice and sample testing opportunities, as many companies will only allow you to pass their test a couple of times.
4. Always do your best possible work. Many companies rate their testers, and those with higher scores tend to get more and better-paying gigs.
