Thanksgiving week officially kicks off the holiday season.
For some people it’s a special family holiday that requires travel and revolves around a traditional meal, while for others, it’s better known as “Black Friday Eve.”
Either way, banks and federal offices are closed on Thanksgiving Day, including U.S. post office locations and the stock market. But some retailers choose to stay open, albeit with limited hours.
So whether you need to do some last-minute shopping for your feast, or just need to grab a few things, you might plan on shopping at your local Kroger on Thanksgiving Day.
And there’s nothing worse than showing up to your go-to grocery store or other retailer, only to find it closed early.
