CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited (CG), a leading engineering conglomerate, has secured an order valued at around ₹900 crore ($99.2M) from Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions LLC, US, for a large-scale data center project in the US. This order represents a strategic milestone, marking CG’s entry into the global data center segment, one of the fastest-growing segments, says a release.
Record win
This is the largest single order CG has ever won and is a direct export order for the supply of power transformers. Under the contract, CG will supply power transformers, specifically engineered to meet the stringent reliability, efficiency, and uptime requirements of hyperscale data center applications. This order will be executed over a delivery period of 12 to 20 months, with delivery terms FAS Mumbai Port (Incoterms 2020), the release said.

These transformers will be designed, manufactured, and tested at CG’s state-of-the-art facilities in India.
